Traditional houseboats on Dal Lake in Srinagar, often chosen for Kashmir honeymoon stays

For couples

A quieter Kashmir honeymoon

Houseboat nights, private sightseeing, and stays chosen for rest as much as for views. The itinerary is built around the two of you, not a packed group circuit.

Rooms and locations chosen for quiet, views, and a slower evening pace.

  • Houseboat experiences

A Dal Lake houseboat night can be included when it suits the season and your dates.

  • Private sightseeing

Shikara time, gardens, and meadow days scheduled as a couple’s itinerary, not a group circuit.

  • Honeymoon room decoration

Simple floral or candle setups can be arranged at selected stays on request.

  • Customized experiences

Extra nights, private dinners, or fewer driving days can be built into the plan.

Questions

Kashmir travel FAQs

Practical answers for planning a first trip to the valley.

What is the best time to visit Kashmir?

Spring (March to May) is known for gardens, milder weather, and tulip season in Srinagar. Summer (June to August) is green and popular for meadows, though some days can be warm in the city. Autumn (September to November) brings clearer views and chinar colour. Winter (December to February) is for snow, especially in Gulmarg. The “best” month depends on whether you want gardens, meadows, or snow.

How many days are enough for Kashmir?

Five nights / six days is enough for a first visit covering Srinagar with Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Six nights / seven days gives more breathing room, or space to add Sonamarg. Longer stays help if you want houseboat time plus meadow days without long driving days back to back.

Which places should I visit in Kashmir?

Most first itineraries include Srinagar (Dal Lake, Mughal gardens), Gulmarg, and Pahalgam. Sonamarg is a strong addition on a longer trip. Doodhpathri and Yusmarg work well as quieter meadow day trips from Srinagar when you want landscape without another hotel change.

Do Kashmir packages include hotels?

Our packages are planned with stays included. The exact hotels or houseboats are confirmed after we understand your dates, budget range, and room type. Nothing is presented as confirmed until you have seen the proposed itinerary.

Can I customize my Kashmir tour?

Yes. Dates, number of nights, destinations, hotel category, and sightseeing can all be adjusted. A customized tour is often the better fit if you have elders, small children, or a specific pace in mind.

Do you provide airport transfers?

Yes. Airport pickup and drop at Srinagar can be arranged as part of the itinerary, along with local sightseeing cabs and transfers between towns.

Can you arrange honeymoon decorations?

Yes, room decoration can be arranged at selected stays on request. Tell us at the enquiry stage so it can be coordinated with the hotel.
